iv just started fishing for the slippery snakes, i havent caught a specimen sized (3lb+) eel but im having a good go! iv only had them to 1lb 9oz :( from a local canal. iv fished a stillwater that could possibly have 3lb+ eel in there, there not wanting my big lobys tho, only the boots are having the! :( i just need to find the right water.

does anyone else fish for them?
or has anyone ever caught a big one when fishing for something else?

i cant stand eels:{ they tangle everything up.
